The raven over the rainbow
Roaring and revealing
Rising restless
The raven over the rainbow
The shadow of the wings
On the pale face of heaven
Next to the stars I am
And no one else is there
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
Next to the stars I am
And no one else is there
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
The raven over the rainbow
Which has never existed
In the furnace of dreams
In the liquid life of mortals
The raven over the rainbow
Aiming towards the black fountains
Crushing the sense of everything
Next to the stars I am
And no one else is there
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
Next to the stars I am
And no one else is there
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
The raven over the rainbow
Falling helpless
Futile and wounded
The raven over the rainbow
Wasted in the yellow smiling space
In the terror of being
Next to the stars I am
And no one else is there
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
Next to the stars I am
And no one else is there
Empty. Silent. Lonely.
Empty. Silent. Lonely.

I’ve owned the Imperfect disc for a bit now, but had slept on the rest of the material, with the exception of Disquiet, until now. Much different than my normal dissonant, occult sound fare, but everything Unrequited creates is bursting at the seams with power and emotion. Respect and support. Slug.

NONE a opéré un virage dans Where Life Should Be et ça se confirme davantage dans Damp Chill of Life. Insoutenable... Jordan Vauvert
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
