By the salty shore
By the ocean's tide
Where cold waters flow
And the waves run wild
Where the icy needles
Bite the spring-freshed air
Where the crystal wind
Howling in despair
And the lands are rooted
By the ancient trees
And their silent whisper
Tells of life and peace
There on leave-trod grounds
'Neath green-painted hills
Between silver-wreathed ribbons
And daffodils
At the Goddess gesture
At Her lazy whim
At unspoken question
At the wows dim
Green-eyed men were created
Autumn-souled and misery-fated
For they dreamed of magic
By that salty shore
Spreading words nostalgic
And they dreamed no more
And the trees forgot them
Sea erased their time
But for carved in stone
Leaves embroidered rhyme
And their tales lay hidden
Since their days are old
In farewell unbidden
Veiled truths foretold
By the misty ocean
By the sea-crushed shore
Spirits of emotion
Softly tread once more
By the salty shore
By the ocean's tide
Where cold waters flow
And the waves run wild...

I’ve owned the Imperfect disc for a bit now, but had slept on the rest of the material, with the exception of Disquiet, until now. Much different than my normal dissonant, occult sound fare, but everything Unrequited creates is bursting at the seams with power and emotion. Respect and support. Slug.

NONE a opéré un virage dans Where Life Should Be et ça se confirme davantage dans Damp Chill of Life. Insoutenable... Jordan Vauvert
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
